#69 The simple way I stay educated and motivated

I was inspired to start this daily newsletter three months ago because I couldn’t find anything like it. I have always believed that if you can’t find what you need, create what you need.

And here we are.

I chose this format, a daily email newsletter, because I personally love this format. I subscribe to several of these types of newsletters for a few reasons:

  • They require zero ongoing effort. You subscribe once, and that’s it.
  • The info I want about a topic that interests me comes directly to me. So easy.
  • Emails are typically short-form and power-packed. I get a quick burst of information to digest and continue through my day.

I subscribe to emails that inspire me to be a forward thinker, be compassionate, keep up with nonprofit news, and stay current on business tech.

Grant writers need to be well-rounded, and all of these newsletters help me be a better writer.

Here are a few of my favorite email newsletters:

You will love this newsletter if you are like me and offer grant consulting and/or grant writing. It focuses on actionable tactics and advice to grow your grant business. If you are employed by a nonprofit, just skip this one.

This weekly newsletter contains tips, shortcuts, and tear-downs to help creators think differently and improve the quality of their creations. I apply so much of what I learn here to my grants and how I think about grant writing.

The Author Stack

Secrets of Success

I lift myself up with this daily newsletter since rejection emails are a big part of grant writing. Each morning, I receive an uplifting, philosophical message that helps me start the day with a positive mindset.

My hope is that you will subscribe to at least one of these email newsletters and that it will help you improve your grant writing and everything you do!

Until next time,
