December is a crazy time. There are holidays, vacations, grant deadlines, and last-minute fundraising—it’s a lot.
It can be easy to get overwhelmed.
You aren’t alone.
Below, I share the year-end grant tasks I am working on now.
- Developing grant calendars for 2025 (if you want me to create your 2025 grant calendar for you, shoot me an email.)
- Sending out year-end request letters to existing grant funders. (Sometimes foundations have some extra money at the end of the year, and it can’t hurt to ask for a few extra thousand for an upcoming program/project.)
- Gathering year-end documents for 2025 grants.
- Updating program narratives and budgets to include 2024 data and program changes.
- Creating program narratives and budgets for new 2025 programs.
- Review 2024 impact report and update numbers.
- Relationship building for the new year.
It is a busy time with lots to do, but these tasks set the stage for a successful new year!
Until next time,
