I always cringe when I read a grant that says something like, “We aim to help disadvantaged children by providing afterschool services.”
It is so bland and uninspiring.
“We aim to empower disadvantaged children through enriching afterschool programming” sounds more powerful and compelling.
I compiled a list of powerful terms that win grants and I share it below…

Limited Time Offer- ONLY 3 Spots Available
After receiving several emails suggesting that I offer grant research and vetting services, I have decided to offer a 2025 grant calendar to 10 nonprofit organizations/grant writers. (As of today, I only have 3 more spots available, so reach out quickly)
I am obsessed with grant research and a meticulous vetter. If you love writing grants but don’t love researching and vetting them, this could be a match made in heaven.
How Does It Work?
If you would like to get started, send an email to hello@writeepicgrants.com or reply to this email. I will schedule a discovery call with you to learn all the things about your organization. Then, I will send you an invoice and get to work. You will receive a super convenient list of grant opportunities organized by month with links, deadlines, and other important details.
Pricing
Since this is a new service and I can only handle 10 organizations right now, pricing is discounted:
6-Month Calendar (5 grants per month= 30): $450
12-Month Calendar (5 grants per month= 60 grants): $720
Email with questions or to get started.
Here is a list of my favorite terms to include in grants:
- Transform
- Alleviate
- Revitalize
- Empower
- Catalyst
- Promote Equity
- Cultivate Opportunity
- Build Resilience
- Ignite Change
- Envision a Future
- Positive Ripple Effect
- Sustainable Solutions
- Lasting Legacy
- Community-driven
- Mobilize
Do you already use some of these terms?
Try to fit them into your next grant, but make sure you back them up with clear and measurable outcomes.
Until next time,
