I talk a lot about grant writing goals and organizational goals, but have you thought about your personal career goals lately?
I announced last week that I am launching a culture-focused grant professional agency in the new year, and I am excited to bring my personal career goal to fruition.
I invite you to write down a few personal career goals before the new year and start thinking about what it will take to reach them.
If one of your goals is to become a freelance grant writer (part-time or full-time), you will love this free opportunity.

Fellow grant writer and friend, Holly Rustick, is hosting a FREE webinar called “Quit Your Toxic Nonprofit Job: Replace Your 9-5 Income Writing Grants Part-Time From Home.”
The webinar is for aspiring and seasoned grant writers who:
- Are new to grant writing and curious to learn if it is a good career path and how to learn the basics in 30 days
- Have considered quitting their 9-5 but need flexible hours and revenue
- Currently freelance and want to create systems to scale your business for sustainable sales
Holly, like me, believes that all grant writers should freelance. It serves both the organization and grant writers. Freelance grant writing has provided me with more financial stability than a 9-5 ever has or could.
When you attend the FREE webinar, you can expect to leave with the following knowledge:
- An actionable checklist for how to leave your 9-5 or supplement your income with part-time freelancing
- A framework for how to create ethical grant writing services
- Tools to price your grant writing services with confidence
When the webinar ends, you will know if freelance grant writing is a better choice and how to work a flexible schedule while serving causes you support without burning out.
This is a new webinar, so even if you have attended one of Holly’s webinars in the past, register for this new one here.
Until next time,
