Any time I have a drive that will take more than 20 minutes, I queue up a podcast. I have many interests, so the type of podcast will vary, but I have a few grant writing podcasts I keep up on.
Listening to podcasts is a great way to gain knowledge and stay current in the industry. The ones I list below are the podcasts I have found to be the most interesting, updated regularly, and cover a variety of topics.
Next time you take a road trip, check these out…
The Grant Writing & Funding by Holly Rustick
With more than 200 podcast episodes, Holly has been helping grant writers replace their full-time income with part-time freelance grant writing since 2017, and she is awesome! I am a big supporter of her Grant Writing Academy, and her vast knowledge of nonprofit grant writing is evident in every podcast episode and interview.
Joan Garry’s Nonprofits are Messy
Also with more than 200 podcast episodes, Joan’s podcast is broad and covers everything related to nonprofits. Listening to Joan and her interviews helps me, as a grant writer, round out my knowledge of nonprofit operations, allowing me to craft better grant proposals. Her lineup of guests is stellar- Seth Godin, Dr. Tiffany Jana, and Daniel Goleman, just to name a few.
Whether you want to learn about logic models, grant management, writing tips, or the use of AI, this podcast talks about it all. Amanda and Kimberly are candid and fun.
That should keep you busy for a while. 🙂
Until next time,
